Best dosa and best south indian biryani. We ordered mysore plain dosa and veg biryani… we have been to many indian restaurants in new zealand in last 25 days and this was the best we got. The person there was so humble, interactive , innocent and we could feel the happy vibe. Chef was polite and attentive too. They also have buffet on weekend where they serve 22 items at $21 per person with unlimited dosa. I wish we could go on weekend too.

We went with our parents. Service is impeccable. Food was delicious and such a fast service for buffet. Awesome experience. The staff were looking after cleanliness and making sure that we still have a great dine-in experience. Authentic South Indian food. My parents loved it and especially the treatment from the staff. They served coffees at our table when buffet is self serve making sure that our parents don't find it difficult to go and get food or beverage from the buffet table. Thanks again Bala's. We been there many times. We did not disappointed for being there. The food and the authentic south Indian taste with the freshness moreover the service. Everything is best. We felt like having breakfast at somewhere in Tamilnadu south India. Highly recommended.

The first restaurant and maybe the only restaurant in NZ that has 100% authentic south Indian food 💯 plus even the service is totally amazing. It's a very affordable (I would say under priced) all you can eat buffet on the weekends. All of the food is totally amazing and totally authentic.

Wowww! Biryani was incredible. The chicken & mutton was soo tender & flavorful, and the rice was perfectly cooked for the biryani.Each grain was seperate and soaked with those amazing spices. The aroma alone was mouth watering. The balance of flavours was just right, with that authentic biryani taste. Seriously, the best biryani I’ve ever had!😋😋🤩💖✨😍 Mr Laxman, the manager on duty, was so friendly and respectful Strongly recommend for everybody
